The mission of the Society of Surgical Oncology is to improve cancer patient care and outcomes by advancing the science and practice of surgical oncology both nationally and internationally. Consistent with these goals, there is an increasing demand to share knowledge and technology generated by the membership in venues beyond the Annual Meeting. In an effort to fulfill these goals, the SSO has partnered with the following global societies to offer collaborative exchanges of faculty, career development candidates and scientific data sharing through the societies’ respective annual meetings.
