The Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) was initially formed as a section of the Association of Surgeons of India in 1977. The Association was legally registered as a Society in 2004. It aims to encourage and advance the science and art of Surgical Oncology. The association is focused on developing Surgical Oncology as a partner in a multidisciplinary approach to cancer management. Today the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology has nearly 1,800 members.
The 38th IASO-NATCON will take place in 2025 from October 16 to October 19 in Vainguinim Beach, Dona Paula, Panaji.
