Since its inception, SSO has awarded over $4 million in research grants, supporting projects in key areas such as breast cancer, melanoma, sarcoma, and pancreatic cancer. 44 members have received the Clinical Investigator Award (CIA) or Young Investigator Award (YIA), making a real impact in surgical oncology research.
