The mission of the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) is to improve multidisciplinary patient care by advancing the science, education, and practice of cancer surgery worldwide. The Society focuses on solid tumors, including breast, colorectal, endocrine, gastrointestinal, hepato-pancreato-biliary cancers, peritoneal cancers, as well as melanoma and sarcoma.
