President-Elect, Dr. Kenneth Tanabe, and Global Forum of Cancer Surgeons CEO, Dr. Chandrakanth Are, participated in the 43rd National Oncology Congress during the session “Surgical Oncology Tomorrow.” The discussion brought together experts in cancer surgery in partnership with the Sociedad Mexicana de Oncología A.C. and the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO).

GFCS CEO takes part in US-India Cancer Dialogue
In August 2024, Dr. Chandra Are participated in the US-India Cancer Dialogue where experts addressed the spectrum of cancer care and research, from artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and novel therapeutics to clinical trials, survivorship care, and complementary and alternative medicines. The U.S.-India Cancer Dialogue provides momentum and a blueprint for future collaboration between the two countries to accelerate progress in cancer research and treatment.
