The SSO is excited to invite you to participate in the “Celebrating Surgical Oncology” design contest. This initiative aims to highlight the compassion, innovation, and life-changing care provided by surgical oncologists through creative expression.
We welcome all members, along with your families and patients, to participate in this opportunity. No matter your age or artistic experience, we encourage you to take part. This is about expression, storytelling, and celebrating the incredible impact of surgical oncology.
How to Participate
Create an original design (digital or hand-drawn) that reflects what surgical oncology means to you. Then, add a short description sharing the inspiration behind your work.
All submitted work must be entirely original and created without the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Any submission found to include AI-generated material will not be taken into consideration.
Why Participate?
- Finalists will be reviewed by SSO leadership
- The winning design will be chosen by member vote
- Your artwork could be featured across SSO platforms
- The winner will be announced on National Surgical Oncologists Day (Saturday, August 22) and appear on limited-edition SSO merchandise
