SSO is pleased to offer a Vail Workshop Award to an SSO Candidate member to cover the cost of attendance at this prestigious and highly competitive course. Applicants must first apply to attend the 2020 AACR/ASCO Methods in Clinical Cancer Research Workshop (also known as the Vail Workshop) and be accepted. This workshop is an intensive program in the essentials of effective clinical trial designs of therapeutic interventions in the treatment of cancer. Beyond teaching trial design and the challenges related to clinical trials, the course seeks to inspire participants to devote all or a portion of their future careers to some aspect of clinical research. The 2020 meeting will be held July 25-31 at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort in Vail, CO.
