It is becoming increasingly difficult to promote and conduct cancer surgical research. Multiple challenges abound ranging from decreasing funding streams, lack of research infrastructure and inadequate research workforce. This session will focus on addressing the current challenges and outline a few strategies to address them. Speakers from low-income to high-income countries will share their expertise on the topic.
