Training Resources for Fellows during COVID-19

SSO recognizes that many Fellows have lost clinical training time due to COVID-19. To provide support and education, SSO is offering all first and second year CGSO fellows with complimentary access to SOSAP 2.0, SSO’s Surgical Oncology Self-Assessment Program. All CGSO Program Directors have been provided with login information for each CGSO Fellow. Please ask your Program Director for details.

In addition, 105 CGSO modules will become available as part of the Surgical Council on Resident Education’s portal. SCORE was formed in 2006 with the mission of improving the education of residents in general surgery and related sub-specialties through the development of a national curriculum. The content of the SCORE portal was written by members of the SSO SCORE Committee. The Committee was comprised of volunteer members who are experts in the various disease sites that encompass Complex General Surgical Oncology.
