The David L. Bartlett Legacy Award recognizes an early career faculty/emerging leader who demonstrates a strong trajectory of transformative contributions in education, mentorship, and innovation in advanced cancer therapies.
Named in honor of Dr. David L. Bartlett, founder of the Advanced Cancer Therapies (ACT) Meeting, the award celebrates his visionary leadership and lasting impact on the field of regional and advanced cancer treatment.
The award provides the recipient with a customized visiting observership with a recognized leader in advanced cancer therapies, offering opportunities to expand clinical expertise, build meaningful mentorship connections, and support continued professional development.

Eligibility Criteria
Nominees Must:
- Be an Assistant or Associate Professor
- Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Be an active SSO member
- Have submitted and presented at least one research abstract at the ACT Annual Meeting within the past three years
Award Details
- The $2,500 travel stipend will be distributed after the recipient and mentor confirm the observership dates and submit the required confirmation form to SSO.
